Founded in 2007, Mia Pasta was born out of a desire to provide quick, effective services with all the advantages of a traditional restaurant and high quality, healthy and balanced cuisine.

Following its significant initial success, Mia Pasta now has 13 franchises and continues to grow with the goal of becoming the market’s number one destination for relaxed, quick-service dining. With more than 18 years of experience at all levels of the restaurant industry and customer service sector, Sébastien Petit has managed Mia Pasta’s operations since 2012. His role is to maximize the customer’s restaurant experience with mouth-watering food, optimal operating efficiency and profitable financial performance for franchisees who, according to Sébastien, are to thank for the brand’s continued success.

A successful entrepreneur for nearly 20 years, Karim Barake acquired the Mia Pasta chain in 2011. Responsible for developing the brand, negotiating sites and attributing franchises, he achieved his ambition to create a successful franchise network by focusing on the three pillars of growth: find the right franchisees, locate the best sites and pay reasonable rents. He is very loyal to his franchisees, whom he considers to be key figures in Mia Pasta’s success.
